SRC adds QEMSCAN service to suite of mining facilities

The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) has invested $1.4 million in a new QEMSCAN service to provide the mining sector with quantitative mineralogical analyses to prove potential resource deposits. The service complements SRC's Advanced Microanalysis Centre and Mineral Processing Pilot Plant and is one of only a handful of QEMSCAN services in Canada. The new service is helping to establish SRC as a one-stop-shop for the mining industry and is aimed at increasing the sector's productivity and competitiveness….
