Protein Industries Canada and partner companies invest $7.6M in pork and beef alternatives

The Protein Industries Canada supercluster has partnered with four companies and researchers at the University of British Columbia on a $7.6-million project to develop and market globally high-quality meat-alternative products, including a plant-based beef to rival Wagyu beef - considered the best in the world.
